Young children learn best through imitation, through their senses and through activity. The preschool classes are bright, airy and colorful, filled with the beauty and variety of nature. Large sunny rooms and adjoining sheltered play yards provide a secure and intimate atmosphere where the children learn about themselves and their world. Here their vitality and creativity are fostered through imaginative activities.

The children in the preschool are constantly doing: building, singing, digging, cooking, gardening, painting, and sewing. In creative play, they develop social skills and mastery of their bodies; through songs, nursery rhymes, eurythmy, and fairy tales, they are nourished by the beauty of language. The children thrive in the rhythmic repetition of daily, weekly and seasonal activities and learn to love work through meaningful tasks. The beauty, logic and purpose of what they experience creates a feeling for order and harmony and engenders the development of memory, attention and imagination. As they grow, their imagination and natural sense of wonder, nurtured in these early years, will foster inquisitiveness and a desire to learn and understand. 

Parent Child Program for children 1 - 3 years. Fall, Winter and Spring sessions - each session is one day a week for 10 weeks and costs $375. Classes from 9:00 - 11:00 am are offered every day of the week.

Nursery for 3 year olds - 3 day or 5 day from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon, optional afternoon care available from 12:00 - 3:00 pm.

Mixed Age Kindergarten for 4, 5 and 6 year olds - 5 mornings a week from 8:00 am - 12:00 noon, optional afternoon care available from 12:00 - 6:00 pm.
