For our Midsummer's Bonfire\, the Garden City Police Department has graciously extended special "Event Parking" to the Waldorf School of Garden City. Visitors to the School may park along the NORTH and SOUTH SIDES of Cambridge Avenue all the way to Nassau Boulevard.
We are very thankful to the Garden City Police Department for supporting us in this important community activity. As always\, please be mindful when parking in front of our neighbors' homes. Please avoid blocking fire hydrants\, driveways or walkways. Thank you.

Auditorium doors open at 8:30 AM\nAll classes (1-12) will be dismissed at 3:20 pm.\nThere will be no extended day program or afternoon playgroup.
Classes begin for students in the 1st - 12th grades on Tuesday\, September 3rd. This first day is a full day with dismissal at 3:20pm. (If your child takes the bus\, please remind your bus driver.)\n
Please note that the doors to the School Auditorium for the Opening Day Assembly will open at 8:30 am. The all-school Opening Day Assembly includes the rose ceremony\, a lovely tradition whereby the high school seniors welcome the new first graders into the lower school as they begin their journey through the grades. No video taping or photography please. All parents - especially new parents and 1st grade parents - are welcome to refreshments in the Main Entrance Lobby prior to the assembly. (If you are here that morning\, we encourage you to drop by the Business Office to replenish your child's Cafeteria and Bookstore accounts. Extra help will be on hand in the Business Office.)
