Parking Announcement
In an effort to showcase our school at its best - which is when our students are here - we recently changed our Open House schedule to take place during the school-day instead of during the weekend.
Wednesday, October 3rd, is our first weekday Open House. To help serve our visitors, we kindly ask faculty, staff, and parents that parking inside the U be saved for our visitors.
For our Open House, the Garden City Police Department has graciously extended special "Event Parking" to the Waldorf School of Garden City for Wednesday, October 3rd. Parents, faculty, staff and visitors to the School may park along the NORTH and SOUTH SIDES of Cambridge Avenue all the way to Nassau Boulevard.
Please remember that all Adelphi University parking lots - including the lot located across Cambridge Avenue, south of our campus and next to Adelphi University's Hy Weinberg Center - are closed to all non-Adelphi community members.
We are very thankful to the Garden City Police Department for supporting us in this important community activity. As always, please be mindful when parking in front of our neighbors' homes. Please avoid blocking driveways, walkways and fire hydrants.
