The Waldorf School of Garden City's ideas and people cross more than academic disciplines - they transcend languages and nations.
The Waldorf School of Garden City is committed to developing an international network of scholars that span the continents. Currently, 15% of our matriculated high school student body represent countries outside of the United States, not including foreign students who participate in the Waldorf School International Exchange Program. Our international students enrich our school environment with their different experiences, perspectives and cultures.
Students begin studying a foreign language in Kindergarten and in Elementary School study two languages each year. Building off of our multi-lingual curriculum, the Waldorf School of Garden City offers an impressive array of study abroad possibilities in high school aimed at fostering a global outlook.
