Trip to Germany, Austria and Switzerland

During the Spring vacation, a group of 20 high school students will visit Germany, Austria and Switzerland. "It's going to be a terrific trip," remarked Athletic Director Mr. Shane Flanagan who is organizing the itinerary. Students who take part in the trip will learn German conversation and comprehension skills; gain greater understanding of the sport and culture of soccer; visit some great sights in the three countries; as well as meet and interact with fellow students at the Waldorf School in Winterthur, Switzerland. For more information, please contact Mr. Shane Flanagan.

Day Two: Stuttgart

We rose early this morning to a full breakfast at our hotel. We then made our way to Stuttgart and visited the Porsche museum. After this, we met our guide Anslem who gave us a bus and walking tour of Stuttgart city. We then made our way to a professional soccer game between Hellenheim and Audswurg (the home team Hellenheim won 02-00).

We then made our way back to the hotel for a traditional meal of Wienerschnitzel (breaded pork or veal).

More soccer and a long hike tomorrow - but in the mean time - off to bed!
