A native Californian, Peter earned his bachelors in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley before studying in Europe at the Universities of Tübingen and Vienna. He holds a master's in German from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he first became a member of the American Association of Teachers of German. He completed a Waldorf teaching certificate in Stuttgart, Germany and, after teaching in both public and Waldorf schools in Germany, accepted an invitation to be one of two founding teachers of the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor. Peter brings many years of class teacher experience to our middle school science program. In addition to his classes, he advises the high school jazz ensemble.
