A Long Island native, Alexi holds a bachelor's from Williams College and a Master's in Education from Harvard University with a focus on language and literacy. Prior to his arrival at the Waldorf School, Alexi served for two years in the Peace Corps teaching English in Botswana. He also worked at the Enrico Fermi Learning Laboratory in Brooklyn as a 7th and 8th grade teacher as well as high school English at the St. Demetrios Greek-American School. He is a graduate of the school's Foundation Studies program in addition to obtaining his Waldorf High School Teaching Certificate at the Center for Anthroposophy.
