Emmie is a graduate of the Kimberton Waldorf School in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor's in history and certification in social studies from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Before receiving her master's in education and Waldorf teacher training certificate from Sunbridge College, she taught history in the Pennsylvania public school system. From 2003 to 2007, Emmie taught history at the East Bay Waldorf School in El Sobrante, CA. In addition to teaching our high school history and social studies courses, Emmie is the advisor for the Model UN club.
