Nancy earned her bachelor's in fine arts from Temple University's Tyler School of Art and master's in fine arts from the Yale University School of Art where she majored in painting. She completed the Foundation Studies program and received an applied and visual arts certificate through Sunbridge College. Prior to working at the Waldorf School of Garden City, Nancy taught art at The Green Vale School. Nancy's art explores still-life and landscape subjects using oil and pastels. She has since expanded her technical skills to include wood and stone carving and loves working with stained glass. Her work has been exhibited in private collections and museums around the east coast. She teaches art to grades 8 through 12.
