Marjorie P. Jean-Paul earned a master's degree in management and urban policy from The New School for Social Research, Milano Graduate School and an undergraduate degree in human development and family studies from Cornell University. After ten years of consulting experience focused primarily on planning, management and major gift fundraising for a range of nonprofit organizations, Mrs. Jean-Paul joined the Waldorf School of Garden City community in 2008. She was first introduced to the Waldorf School of Garden City, and Waldorf education, in 2004 when she helped conduct the School's first ever comprehensive Capital Campaign as a member of the consulting team from Changing our World, Inc. In addition to her volunteer work on the Executive Committee of the American Friends Service Committee, Marjorie also served as a member of the Haitian American Community Dialogue, a group which focused on democracy and economic development in Haiti.
