Inspiring Faculty, dedicated Staff

The faculty at the Waldorf School of Garden City are models for the kind of people we hope to graduate: bright, relentlessly curious, and cross-culturally fluent. They are committed teachers and scholars - people who want to help you develop personally and intellectually.

We cannot say enough about how profoundly your teachers will affect your life. Because of our size and small classes, you will get to know your teachers as human beings, and in turn, they will get to know you.

In 2003, he and his wife Lynn spent a year living abroad on a farm in the Tuscany region of Italy where he gained "a very basic knowledge of Italian" as well as dual citizenship. Upon his return to the United States, Donald taught in the middle school and then became the upper school chair and humanities teacher at the Waldorf School of Baltimore. Donald serves on the boards of the Waldorf Schools Fund and the Foundation for Human Movement Studies and has worked at the Rudolf Steiner Institute.
