Middle School Girls Basketball vs. Buckley Country Day School

Waldorf's Middle School Girls Basketball Team traveled to the Buckley Country Day School and earned their second win of the season, winning 32-15. "Each game, I tell the team to take something they did wrong and change it the next game. I am very pleased at the way we performed tonight."

In the first quarter, Waldorf led 03-00. 7th grader Emma Keane scored 1 point on a free throw and 7th grader Fiona Somers scored a basket.

In the second quarter, the host team came out strong and outscored Waldorf 13-05. Keane scored another 3 points and 8th grader Bilan-Ardo Ali also scored a basket.

In the third quarter, Waldorf was exceptional and outscored the home team 20-00. Keane scored another 10 points and her classmate and sister Kate scored 8. 7th grader Conchetta Bohn was also instrumental in this quarter scoring a basket as well.

In the final quarter both teams struggled a bit but Waldorf continued strong play, outscoring Buckley 04-02. For the game Emma Keane finished with a season high of 18 points. Kate Keane fished with 8 points.
