The Jazz Band plays music from standard jazz charts as well as big band and swing arrangements.  Students are taught basic jazz theory and improvisational skills and are encouraged to perform solos at each concert.  The Jazz Band is frequently featured at school functions, and assemblies.  The Jazz Band meets twice weekly.
