Date: September 16, 2013
Event Recap:

Waldorf's Varsity Boys Soccer Team came up short when they played against Our Savior New American (OSNA) School on Monday, September 16th in Centrereach, N.Y. Remarked Coach Flanagan, "The team played a very hard and well fought game; however, it was OSNA who took the changes in front of goal.

Waldorf was missing the sophomore class (who are up in Camp Glen Brook for the week); however, number of freshman stepped up and showed Coach Flanagan what they are made of and how they can contribute to the varsity team. Notably, 9th grader Jun Kil Seong played a fantastic game as goalkeeper, making 7 very important saves. Also, 9th grader Peter LePorin stepped-in as Waldorf’s left sided defender and played a stellar game helping out the rest of the defense. Coach Flanagan was very impressed with their toughness and overall attitude throughout the game.

This was a frustrating loss for the varsity boys team who created a number of great opportunities, particularly in the first half of the game. However, Coach Flanagan was pleased with the overall performance hopes that they come back strong.
