Lower School Offerings

Handwork Club

Board Games Club

Maximum Number of Students: 12

For students in grades 3 to 6. Traditional board games such as chess, backgammon, and nine men's morris have been played for hundreds of years. Explore these games, learn the rules and develop strategies for a variety of different games. Healthy interactions with peers and good sportsmanship will be emphasized.

For students in grades 4 through 8. Let your creative juices flow as you discover all aspects of a theater production from acting to set design. This club will culminate in a holiday play(s) on December 13th Please provide a snack for your child, no snack will be provided. Drama Club will only be offered during this Fall Session. Not during the Winter and Spring sessions.

For students in grades 4 through 8 and invited high school students. Practice and perform a lyrical/jazz/hip-hop dance culminating in a performance during the February 14th assembly. You do not need to know how to dance but must WANT to dance. Please provide a snack for your child. No snack will be provided. The Dance Club will only be offered through February 7th with a performance at the February 14th assembly.

For students in grades 9 through 12. Review math needed for success on the SAT. Enhance test taking skills, learn techniques for knowing when to make an "educated" guess, receive valuable practice taking this type of test.

Green Project Club

Maximum Number of Students: 10

For students in grades 9 through 12. Students will build a windmill generator to power and irrigate the greenhouse. Students will also research and work on creating effective ways to regulate the inside temperature of the greenhouse.
