The first snowfall of the season has come and given the second graders a fabulous opportunity to go sledding on our hills! The children also had a wonderful time rolling and packing all the snow they could gather from the far corners of the field and helping each other build forts and snow-people. Many students were proudly wearing their recently completed knit hats.
As well as enjoying lots of wholesome outdoor play, the second graders have been busy completing their math and language arts main lesson books! They have also have been helping with tasks around the school; taking down the chairs in the cafeteria for the older students and teachers, watering the beautiful plants in the lobby and breeze-way, and feeding the birds. They love helping and are quite good at it!
