As part of their class in sustainable agriculture, a group of eighth grade students and Waldorf’s Gardening Teacher Ms. Jeannine Davis delivered over 90 lbs. of freshly harvested vegetables from the School’s garden to the Mary Brennan Inn Food Kitchen and Homeless Shelter in Hempstead, N.Y. on Friday, October 24th. The students were welcomed by the food kitchen manager and were given a tour of the facility.
