In conjunction with its annual Fall Fair, the Waldorf School of Garden City held its Alumni Day celebration on Saturday, October 19th.

Over 30 graduating classes returned to the Garden City campus. Members from the classes of 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973, 1974, 1976, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 were in attendance.

Many alumni and their families dropped-by the High School Student Room to enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast, to browse through old yearbooks, and to reconnect with friends. In the morning, alumni took part in a special Alumni Sing-Along with Waldorf’s former choral director, Mr. George V. Rose, and former lower school music teacher and piano accompanist, Mrs. Jeanette Resnick.

Later that evening, the class of 1983 celebrated their 30th reunion at Jonathan’s Restaurant.
