Alumni Grandparent, Carl Braun Inducted to Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame

Join us in congratulating former School Administrator, Susan Braun, her son Christopher Smalley ‘07 and their family, as her father, Carl Braun will be inducted posthumously into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday, September 6, 2019. To watch Ms. Braun represent her father at the induction ceremony, tune-in live to the NBA TV on your local cable provider, with coverage beginning at 6:30pm ET this Friday evening.

Carl Braun, was the first superstar of the NY Knicks, a five time All-Star, first teenager in the BAA/NBA, the man who coined the term “Swish” and who held the NBA single game scoring record until broken by Wilt Chamberlain. He is the 5th all-time leading scorer in Knicks history.
