2020 Galapagos Trip Information Meeting – Grades 9, 10, & 11

January 17, 2019 @ 6:30 pm EST

We are planning a 9-day trip to Galapagos Islands in Ecuador during the Spring Break of 2020. The trip is open to students in the current 9th, 10th, and 11th grades. This is an exciting opportunity for students to explore one of most magnificent wonders of the world. In addition to immersing ourselves in a Spanish speaking country, we will be doing a number of outdoor activities which includes hiking volcanos and snorkeling.

The final cost of the trip is to-be-determined but we estimate it at about $3,600-$4,000. This trip is a bit more expensive than our usual trips due to the fact that the government of Ecuador limits the number of visitors in order to preserve the islands. We are fortunate to be traveling with EF Tours which has been organizing educational trips to Galapagos for more than 20 years. The trip’s itinerary and other important information regarding the trip can be found at this link.

The chaperones will be Mrs. Gallo, Mr. Flanagan and Mr. Kim. We will be having a meeting on Thursday January 17 at 6:30pm in the High School Student Room where a representative of EF Tours will be present to answer any questions or concerns. If you plan on attending the meeting, we kindly ask you to RSVP by clicking this link. Students are also welcome to attend.
