6-8th Grade Parent Meeting
January 10, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST
On Wednesday, January 10th at 7 pm in the High School Student Room, we have the great fortune to host representatives from the Ackerman Institute for the Family, who will deliver a presentation on Gender Diversity and address gender related questions. Through this hour and a half workshop, you will deepen your understanding of gender diversity and its connection to the academic and emotional success of all students. Topics will include, but are not limited to:
- gender development
- expression & identity
- how to speak to children about gender
- gender socialization
- expression and bullying in school
- supporting a child in transition
