The Middle school softball team won their first game of the season this Tuesday as they beat Buckley 10-8. 8^th grader Sanalee Troupe did a great job pitching and struck out 4 hitters over the course of the game. Some great hitting by 8^th graders Chloe Mak, Rose Gibeau, Flora Meredith, Sanaalee Troupe, Kiki Fraim, Margo Cheney, Lilla Lee, Ellen Bucalo, and 7^th graders Chloe Kritas and Emma Ginsberg gave Waldorf a 10-8 score going into the top of the 5^th and final inning. With two outs and one more needed for the win, 8^th grader Rose Gibeau make the game winning catch as she grabbed a high fly ball and safely held on to it. The girls are delighted with this first win of the season.
