The 7^th and 8^th grade softball team lost their season opener 13-2 to Buckley. 8^th grader Sanalee Troupe pitched extremely well, but some impressive hitting by Buckley got them the runs they needed to win. 8^th graders Rose Gibeau hit a single in the 2^nd inning and went on to score a run, after being batted in by 7^th grader Emma Ginsberg. 8^th grader Jordan Henry hit a double in the 3^rd inning and then scored a run after being batted in by 8^th grader Sanalee Troupe.

The girls were happy with their performance and know they will only get better as the season goes on.
