Chess Club – fall session

Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:20 – 5:00 | Library
Max # of students: 15
Grades 3 to 8. The Chess Club will introduce students to the game of chess, build skills, teach strategy and culminate in a tournament during the final class of the session. Students will learn about the history of the game as well as develop patience, logical thinking and problem solving skills. No experience necessary. (This is a 2-day per week club, there is no 1-day option)
Start Date: Tuesday, September 12th
End Dates: Last Tuesday is November 14th & last Thursday, November, 30th (unless make-up class is scheduled)
