Shepherd’s Play
December 20, 2016 @ 1:00 pm EST
On Tuesday, December 20th there will be two performances of The Shepherds’ Play, the story of the Nativity. Grades 1-5 will attend at 1:00pm and grade 6 – 12 will attend at 2:15 p.m. Preschool children in the Tuesday Afternoon Care Program have also been invited – as well as parents and guardians. The play includes singing and acting, both in solo parts and chorus, and the cast is comprised of faculty, parents and alumni.
While we believe it is important for students to share in cultures and traditions that they may not experience at home, we also recognize and respect that some families may prefer that their child not participate in the viewing of the Shepherds’ Play. An alternate activity will be provided for those children. Should you NOT wish for your child to attend the Shepherds’ Play, please complete this online response form by Monday, December 19th.
