Varsity Boys Baseball Game – AWAY

Waldorf travelled into Brooklyn, playing Bay Ridge Prep at MCU Park, and lost by count of 14-2, in a game which ended after 5 innings, due to the “run rule”. Eric Mundy pitched well, into the 4th inning, leading by score of 2-0, with 2 outs in the inning. After that, things took a turn, due to walks and errors. Anthony Deus made a fine play at third base, knocking down a hard hit ground ball, with the bases loaded, and getting the out at third. Both Peter Leporin and Chris Hobert had 2 hits, including a double apiece.
