Varsity Boys Soccer Game, Away

The Waldorf Varsity boys soccer team improve their overall season record to 1-1 as they defeat Knox 6-0 this past Friday.
Senior Max Pascucci, with an assist from Junior Erik Beauvais, scored Waldorf’s first goal about 20 minutes into the game. Not long after that Pascucci got his second of the game after a great run down the right wing exposed a massive hole in Knox’s defense which he keenly capitalized upon. Next on the score sheet was Junior Erik Beauvais as he smashed a 25 yard free kick right through the goalkeepers hands and into the back of the net .
Waldorf’s 4th of the game came from Freshman Luka Albano, with an assist from Senior Chris Hobert. This is Albano’s first varsity goal with the Waldorf Stars!
It wasn’t long until Junior Erik Beauvais got his second of the game as he clinically finished a well played pass by Junior Aidan koubel.
Goal number 6 came as an “own goal” by one of Knox’s defenders but only as a result of some very good positioning and pressure from Freshman Mike Lu.
Waldorf return to action on Wednesday September 14th when they take on Knox again but this time at home on Waldorf’s main soccer field.
