Waldorf went against Avenues at Lexington School for the Deaf where we won 5-2. They started out a strong 30 minutes game by playing defensively and making good passes and getting many corners in. The first goal hit off the goalkeeper which was a shot taken from the corner by Conchetta Bohm. In the 25th minute of the first half, Gilee Herscho took the throw in and Mollie headed it in the net making it her 9th goal for the season. Sarah Keane took 3 shots against the goal as well along with Kate Keane. In the second half, Emma Keane took a shot and it deflected off from Avenue’s defense giving us a goal, making it 3-0. In the 56th minutes, Emma Keane dribbled the ball down in the middle making a pass to Mollie Resnick where she scored her 10th goal of the season. In the 72nd minute, Conchetta Bohm had a throw in. Conchetta Bohm threw the ball to Mollie, where Mollie made a pass to Emma and scored making it 5-2 for the game. Waldorf has been making progress and has been doing their best in games. We look forward in going against Portledge school for semi finals on October 25th at 3:45 pm.
