Varsity Girls Soccer Game, Away

Waldorf fell short 4-2 against Avenues: The World school. In the first 20 minutes of the game, Waldorf was pressuring Avenues’ defense and got 3 corners during the first half. Our defense was very well organized with Ardo Ali, Ali Fraim, Gilee Herscho, and Beatrice Steuer. Conchetta Bohm scored her second goal of the season leading the game 1-0 in the first half. The first half ended with the score being tied 2-2 with Mollie Resnick scoring her second goal of the season. In the second half Waldorf did better in communication and pressuring the defense and goalie as well. Waldorf continues to make good progress and looking forward to Friday’s upcoming game against Long Island Lutheran Middle & High School at 4:30.
