Varsity Girls Soccer Game – AWAY

Waldorf traveled to Staten Island to play against SIA, which ended in a loss 6-1. Waldorf started off the game strong in 15 minutes until Staten Island Academy scored their first goal. Amanda Sorensen came out the goal making many saves and defense defending their goal The midfielders who were Sarah Keane, Emma Keane, Conchetta Bohm, Bea Steuer, and Kate Keane kept pressuring Staten Island’s defense as well. In the 26th minute of the game Conchetta Bohm took a shot on goal and scored Waldorf’s first goal of the game. Mollie Resnick and Gilee Herscho kept pressuring and had throw ins for the game. Waldorf is looking forward to play against Avenue’s School on Friday, October 13th at 4:30 at Lexington School for the deaf as we look to clinch in a spot for semi final.
