Varsity Girls Soccer Game, Away

Waldorf started off attacking, Staten Island Academy scored their first goal within the first 5 minutes of the game. Waldorf got their first corner kick of the game in the 26th minute with Conchetta Bohm taking the corner. Freshmen Mollie Resnick scored her first goal of the season with the assist of Emma Keane in the 32nd Minute. While applying pressure in the first half, Waldorf got their second corner with the help of Emma Keane. Waldorf got their third corner with Ana Allen scoring her first goal of the season, making the score 5-2 in the 17th minute. In the 35th minute, Conchetta Bohm took her shot from the 18 and scored her first goal of the season, making the score 5-3. With the help of defense and midfield, they put pressure against Staten Island and prevented them from scoring again. Overall it was a good game with Waldorf making progress by scoring 3 goals, assisting, pressuring the defense and goalkeeper, and forcing them to make mistakes.
