Varsity Girls Soccer Game – HOME

Waldorf did an amazing job scoring 5 goals and playing defensively in the game. In the first half Staten Island Academy scored 2 goals, And it wasn not until the 12 minutes in that Mollie Resnick scored her second goal of the season. Then at 16 minutes into the game, Emma Keane scored her 2nd goal of the season. To end the first half, Mollie Resnick scored her 3rd goal as she went 1v1 with SIA’s goalkeeper.
Going on to the second half, Waldorf began to play defensively and many shots were taken by Conchetta Bohm, Kate Keane, Gilee Herscho, and Sarah Keane. In the 17th minute of the second half, Mollie Resnick scored her fourth goal of the season and making it her first hat-trick of the season. Then in the 32nd minute, Kate Keane made an assist passing the ball to Mollie Resnick scoring her 5th goal of the season. We were down by 9 goals but Waldorf kept pressuring and playing defensively for the remainder of the game. We are looking forward to our next away game against Long Island Lutheran school on Friday, October 13th at 4:30pm.
