Varsity Girls Softball Game – AWAY

Knox win 9-6
Waldorf did their best against a very good Knox softball team on Monday but were unable to come out with the win, losing 9-6. Waldorf pitcher Mollie Resnick did excellent work on the mound striking out 3 batters, and did even better at the plate as she went 2 for 4 against a very experienced and fast pitcher, scoring 2 runs. Junior Gilee Hershco also did an excellent job at bat going 2 for 3 and scored 1 run for her team. The Keane triplets, Emma, Kate and Sarah, all scored 1 run a piece and did a great job fielding throughout the game. Both Emma and Gilee made diving catches to get batters out. Waldorf return to play on Tuesday 5/2 when they host Portledge for a 430pm game.
