Varsity Girls Softball Game – HOME

Portledge @ Waldorf
Portledge wins 21-5
The Varsity Softball team went up against a very good pitching and hitting team when they took on the Portledge school. Our girls were not fazed by their very fast pitcher and were determined to hit and get on base. Freshman center-fielder Aimee Gallagher went 2 for 3 and scored a run for Waldorf. Junior and catcher Gilee Hershco also went 2 for 3 and scored 2 runs, one of which required stealing home. Junior Sarah Keane also went 2 for 3 and scored 3 of Waldorf 5 runs. It was a tough game but Waldorf kept their heads and the positivity up and put on a great defensive performance. The girls return to action tomorrow, Wednesday, when they host OSNA.
