Emanuel – also known as Manny – joined the Waldorf School of Garden City in 2022, bringing more than a decade of experience in youth development, educational access, and independent school placement through an equity and inclusion lens. He has held senior roles at various organizations with responsibilities spanning admissions and recruitment, program development and management, college counseling, teaching, fundraising, and marketing. Prior to pursuing a career in education, Manny worked in sports marketing across multiple organizations including FIFA World Cup and Major League Baseball.

Manny attended boarding school in New Hampshire and holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University. He grew up in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan and is a native Spanish speaker. Fun Fact: Manny is a 2018 CNN Champion for Change!
