Isabelle Gliksman

3rd Grade Teacher

Isabelle Gliksman earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Psychology major and a Women’s Studies minor from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. While earning her Master’s Degree in counseling from Villanova University, she served as a guidance counselor to elementary school children in urban communities throughout Pennsylvania. She also pursued a career in the healing arts.

After beginning a study in anthroposophy, Isabelle developed an interest in Waldorf education and subsequently earned a second Master’s Degree from Sunbridge College. After teaching at the Charlottesville Waldorf School in Virginia, Isabelle joined the Waldorf School of Garden City in 2003 and began her journey as a class teacher for the class of 2018 from grades 4 through 8. Without missing a beat, she then took-on the class of 2026.

Fun Fact: Isabelle is fluent in Polish, plays the piano and flute, and enjoys ballroom dancing.
