Linnea Folk

High School German Teacher & Library Support

Linnea Folk comes to us with a wealth of experience teaching German and English as a Second Language in both Germany and the United States. She earned the equivalent of an American Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from Westfalische Wilhelms-Universitat Munster. In addition, she holds a 2-year certificate in Student Teaching and a certificate in Advanced Latin Proficiency and Ancient Greek. Her past experience in the U.S. includes St. John’s University where she was an adjunct Instructor of German, an Instructor of English, and an ESL Instructor for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Program. She also spent several years at the New York United Nations International School where she taught German, administered regents exams, and was the German School Vice-President until 2021. Linnea holds dual citizenship in both the United States and Germany.
