The George V. Rose Music Scholarship Committee accepts applications annually from current WSGC 8th Grade students. The scholarship provides $2000.00, renewable per year, in financial assistance to a high school student who exhibits the following criteria:
- A strong musical aptitude
- A minimum grade point average of 85
- Community service, shown through full participation in the music programs of the school
- Exemplary conduct in all areas of school
