Jenel Gordon ‘08

Jenel Gordon ’08 attended The Waldorf School of Garden City from 9th through 12th grade, graduating in 2008. She went on to study fashion merchandising at Johnson and Wales Uni­versity in Rhode Island, then later transferred to LIM College, where she gained hands-on expe­rience with the fashion industry. During her studies, Jenel had the opportunity to intern at the top luxury brand Chanel where she learned the fundamentals of the wholesale business.

After graduating from LIM College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Jenel spent five years working at Burberry, where she was part of a team that elevated the acces­sories business within the wholesale market. Jenel also had the opportunity to manage the department store’s product assortment and financial figures at Marc Jacobs and Dolce & Gab­bana.

Jenel now lives in Brooklyn, NY and is a recent graduate of Cornell University’s project man­agement certificate program. She works as an Account Executive for Montblanc, an interna­tional German manufacturer of luxury writing instruments, watches, and jewelry, eyewear and leather goods. Her main responsibility at Montblanc is growing the leather goods busi­ness with the department stores in North America.
