Waldorf’s Middle Bchool Boys Basketball Team opened their season with a 63-15 win over Solomon Schecter Day School. The Waldorf boys came out on fire and pretty much controlled the tempo the whole game – jumping to a 18-00 first quarter run.

“I am very proud of the boys,” stated Coach Richard Byrd. “Not knowing what to expect in my first year coaching, the boys played really well together for their first game. We still have a lot of work to do – but I feel we will have a great season.”

7th grader Jake Benn led all scorers with 16 points, followed by 8th grader Jun Kil Seong with 12 points and 8th grader Max Pascucci with 6 points.
