Waldorf’s Middle School Girls Basketball Team traveled to the Buckley Country Day School and earned their second win of the season, winning 32-15. “Each game, I tell the team to take something they did wrong and change it the next game. I am very pleased at the way we performed tonight.”
In the first quarter, Waldorf led 03-00. 7th grader Emma Keane scored 1 point on a free throw and 7th grader Fiona Somers scored a basket.
In the second quarter, the host team came out strong and outscored Waldorf 13-05. Keane scored another 3 points and 8th grader Bilan-Ardo Ali also scored a basket.
In the third quarter, Waldorf was exceptional and outscored the home team 20-00. Keane scored another 10 points and her classmate and sister Kate scored 8. 7th grader Conchetta Bohn was also instrumental in this quarter scoring a basket as well.
In the final quarter both teams struggled a bit but Waldorf continued strong play, outscoring Buckley 04-02. For the game Emma Keane finished with a season high of 18 points. Kate Keane fished with 8 points.
