Waldorf’s Middle School Girls Basketball Team traveled to Holy Child Academy and fell short, 09-26.

“We just couldn’t hit shots and find our rhythm on offense,” said Coach Brown.

Holy child executed a lot of things – especially on the defensive end. In the first quarter, Holy Child led 6-0.

“This team played a very up-tempo game. We needed to make quick adjustments,” remarked Coach Brown.

In the second quarter, 7th grader Emma Keane (2 points) and 8th grader Phoebe Akaba-Koubel (3 points) were the only two to score for Waldorf. At the half, Waldorf was down 05-12. In the third quarter, Holy child scored 8 points. In the final quarter, Holy Child rallied and outscored Waldorf, 06-04.

Said Coach Brown, “We definitely struggled tonight, but I have a feeling that we will bounce back the next game!”
