On September 25th, we celebrated “new beginnings” with our benefactors and current Waldorf families at the Benefactor’s Reception & Back-to-School Celebration. Our Early Childhood playground created a beautiful setting for the afternoon, looking “played in and alive,” as our Board Chairman, Lance Cheney, described it. Each table was decorated with autumnal bouquets and our Annual Report Magazine featuring a cherry-cheeked Parent and Child student. Parents, new and seasoned, ate fresh Italian cuisine from a Waldorf favorite, Jonathan’s restaurant, owned by Alum Dean Mavrikis ‘87. There was laughter and dancing to the tunes gifted to us by The Alumni Brother’s Band, and our own, DJ Mr. Victor.  It was a perfect day.

Thank you to everyone who could attend. To our community members near and far who could not be with us at the event, we felt your presence in every inch of the playground that would not exist without your support.
