Uniting the Waldorf Community
after Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy was one of the worst natural disasters the East Coast has ever seen. Clean-up and recovery will take months, if not years.

One of the Waldorf School’s greatest strengths is the deep sense of community which binds us together. We provide to you this website as a source of support during the long process of recovery. We hope that you and your family are safe and well.

If you need something:

Please use this form to facilitate the efforts of our community members who wish to provide needed items to those of us who have losses from the storm. Be very specific. List ANY type of item; clothes (include sizes), furniture, household goods, etc. Don't hold back! Important: Your name and contact information will be kept confidential by the School's administration. We will contact you when your requested item is available. Items listed will be automatically publicized below.

If you can donate something:

If you can donate any of the items listed at the bottom of this page, please bring-in your donated item(s) to Ms. Lynn Bufano, the Front Desk Receptionist in the School's Main Lobby during regular school hours or contact Mrs. Marjorie P. Jean-Paul at (516) 742-3434 Ext. 309 or via email at mjeanpaul@waldorfgarden.org. (Please do not use the following form.) As items are collected, we will remove them from the list and contact the individual who requested them. Thank you!
