Stephanie was employed in the textile industry as a trend director. Her fifteen-year career took her all around Europe and the United States, creating and delivering trends in fashion to esteemed companies such as Levi, Gap and Calvin Klein. She successfully headed a satellite office in San Francisco before moving back to New York in 2000. She received her bachelor's degree in fine art and spirituality at Empire State College. She is also a graduate of the Helix Training Program (2004), a four-year program with an emphasis in spiritual psychotherapy and certification in adult and family counseling. She is a certified Hatha and Kundalini Yoga Instructor, and a meditation instructor. Stephanie is an artist, classically trained pianist and writer. She has written two plays, which were produced off-broadway, as well as an award-winning independent feature film. She completed the Winkler Center's Foundation Studies Program as well as the "Introduction to Waldorf Kindergarten" course at Sunbridge Institute. In 2012, she completed her Waldorf Early Childhood certification. The following year, Stephanie received a certificate in leading Parent-Child classes at Sunbridge Institute. Prior to leading Parent-Child classes, Stephanie assisted in the nursery and kindergarten classes and taught in the afternoon care program. Stephanie is currently a lead teacher in Parent-Child program and teaches our School’s satellite Parent-Child programs at the Tanglewood preserve in Rockville Centre and Garvie’s Point Preserve in Glen Cove. In 2013, Stephanie completed Kim John Payne's Simplicity Parenting training, and is a Simplicity Parenting leader and coach.
