Inspiring Faculty, dedicated Staff

The faculty at the Waldorf School of Garden City are models for the kind of people we hope to graduate: bright, relentlessly curious, and cross-culturally fluent. They are committed teachers and scholars - people who want to help you develop personally and intellectually.

We cannot say enough about how profoundly your teachers will affect your life. Because of our size and small classes, you will get to know your teachers as human beings, and in turn, they will get to know you.

Other Information

Born and raised in Long Island, Carrie attended Hofstra University as a business major. In 2000, she and her husband attended an Open House at the Waldorf School. She recounts: "We thought the kindergarten classroom was so beautiful and we just fell in love with the school. It was like our second-home!"  Since then, Carrie has been an active Waldorf parent and in recent years has assisted in the parent-child program and the nursery afternoon care program. An avid knitter, sewer, and biodynamic gardener, Carrie is a graduate of the Winkler Center's Foundation Studies Program.
