After graduating from American University in Washington D.C. with a bachelor's in public relations, Jeannine pursued a four month trip across eight countries in Africa, which included crossing the Sahara Desert. For three years, she taught at the Westbury Friends School where she worked in their preschool in addition to pioneering their organic gardening program. Jeannine has a certificate in biodynamic agriculture as well as a master's in Waldorf education from Sunbridge College in Chestnut Ridge, New York. Jeannine teaches horticulture and gardening throughout the year to grades 1 through 8 as well as during speciality blocks in the high school. She collaborates frequently with the Crossroads Farm in Malverne, N.Y. bringing our students - and biodynamic gardening - to this local community farm.
