Summer at the Waldorf School is a day camp for boys and girls ages 3 to 13 and Counselor-in-Training program for ages 14 to 16. Offering both half and full day programs, flexible scheduling, a variety of quality activities and special events led by dedicated and talented counselors - our program creates an atmosphere of lively, yet relaxed, summer fun!
We can reserve a place for your child(ren) once we receive your $500 deposit (per child, non-refundable). You will be billed the remaining balance which must be paid in full by June 9, 2019.
8:30 am - 3:00 pm | $3,400 for the full program OR a flexible schedule, 24-day minimum at $120/day
8:30 am - 12:00 pm | $2,240 for the full program OR a flexible schedule, 24-day minimum at $82/day
(First-Eighth graders must participate in the full day program.)
The Morning Care Program is available daily beginning at 7:30 AM. The After Care Program is available daily until 6:00 p.m. The After Care Program provides campers with wholesome childcare that includes snack and free play. Students can be enrolled in both programs on a regular schedule or an “as needed” basis. There is a charge of $9/hour for this service. Invoices for both program fees are sent home every 2 weeks.
Summer at the Waldorf School admits children of any race, color and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities. Tuition includes use of all facilities, tee shirt, snack and the cost of some day trips where applicable. The deposit is refundable until April 30, 2019 minus a $50 processing fee. A non-refundable payment is due in full by June 9, 2019. There are no refunds for absences or withdrawals after camp has started. In the case of an extended illness that has resulted in five or more consecutive absences, a camper may be withdrawn for medical reasons documented by the camper's physician; in such cases, there will be a refund issued on tuition in excess of the non-refundable $500 deposit, prorated based on attendance. For part-time campers, every effort will be made to accommodate absences through schedule or changes. For the general welfare of all campers, Summer at the Waldorf School reserves the unrestricted right to dismiss any camper whose conduct or influence, in the opinion of the Director, is detrimental to the best interests of the camp. Admission is limited due to the needs of the program. Summer at the Waldorf School tennis and swimming programs take place at Adelphi University. Summer at the Waldorf School will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items. In the event that this agreement is executed by one parent, the signer acknowledges that he/she is also acting as the agent of the other parent with authority to enroll his/her child at camp and to execute this agreement on his or her behalf. By signing on the registration form, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the terms and accept the conditions. Photographs, names or other media images, recordings or materials of the undersigned and/or the camper covered by this agreement may be used by the camp at any time in the future for brochures, videos, websites, prints or other publicity or marketing purposes.

Summer at the Waldorf School is permitted to operate by the Nassau County Department of Health. Summer at the Waldorf School is inspected twice yearly. The inspection reports concerning Summer at the Waldorf School are filed at: Nassau County Department of Health, 200 County Seat Drive, Mineola, NY 11501.
