Students Win Awards at Annual Sprachfest

On Saturday, April 18th, the Long Island chapter of the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) held its 26th annual Sprachfest, a language festival fostering the learning and sharing of German language skills and cultural events. Accompsett Middle School in Smithtown hosted this year’s event with over 300 students from 16 schools across Long Island attending. The Waldorf School of Garden City participated with 43 students from the 7th through 12th grades under the guidance of Ms. Juliane Schneider.
