Henry Bertoni has been named one of five recipients of the 2021 I.A.T.S.E. Richard F.Walsh/Alfred W. Di Tolla/Harold P. Spivak Foundation Scholarship Award and has also been selected as one of seventeen students to receive a “Student Standout Award” from Assemblywoman Judy Griffin.
Selection for the IATSE Award is based on excellent academic performance, test scores, and strong recommendations. The Student Standout Award recognizes students who exemplify leadership, kindness, inclusiveness, creativity, motivation, civic engagement, a strong work ethic, and/or focused career orientation. Assemblywoman Griffin presented the Standout Award during an Awards Ceremony at the Center for Science Teaching and Learning located in Rockville Centre, NY.
Henry plans to study engineering at Layfayette College in the fall. Congratulation Henry!
